Double-dipping occurs when a high first round pick busts out for one team then plays for another.

Some teams (and the Falcons are also one of them) refuse to sign a contract that allows a player to do this. It's really just a bad message that the player's agent is sending if they get hung up on this point. "Hey, he may suck and you cut him. We're going to want two paychecks if that happens."
