she lost most of both legs in recent years, full-on kidney failure as of a couple of weeks ago with multiple dialysis treatments a week now, and she still doesn't check her blood sugar daily and has been protesting having to be on a dialysis-friendly diet.
I've asked her, as recently as last night (exchanges with her were part of why I sought out kitty photos), what it's going to take for her to take more care about all the things for which she can take more care and have more positives in the mix. no answer.
