I saw a story last year that they planned to open 70-something locations in california in coming years; and I just remembered to go check progress.

none near my regular routes; but they're getting pretty close now! one on the way to santa cruz, another coming soon on the peninsula (on the way up to s.f.).

I don't think I ever tried their custard, got stuck on the ice. we tried custard at another place known for it. (not selling custard now, in any case, because eggs.) (www.ritasice.com)
