My sister every so often but not my brother. He lives in Ohio and we usually only talk for holidays/birthdays and when he comes to NY for a visit -- (edited)

He's in NJ and I didn't get a call to come down and see him and the kids. He did call my sister to make the plans to get together. No one thought to call me or decided not to invite me.
My brother is 18 years older than I am and I've barely known him throughout my life. I've tried numerous times to get closer to him but that ended when he moved to Ohio.
