to be real action and impact.
I take issue with the negative connotation implied with saying everyone is bandwaggoning, for at least two of the three targets; and danged if anyone should give the hint of a negative towards the third, stopping use of the flag.
something bigger/worse-than-ever happens, people learn new things and maybe think about patterns of behavior, and they ask themselves, "why am I (or are we) supporting this or letting it continue unprotested, at least?" then joining together to give more oomph can happen. that's how some of the biggest, most progressive changes have started since ancient times.
