It's a great documentary. We watched it a few months before he died.

I left his picture at the former West End Playhouse the day he passed, which is now a Mental Health facility. It's where he got his first gig. I nearly gasped when he was talking about it in the documentary as I pass it daily.

The neighborhood he grew up in is gone. It was a victim of urban renewal in the 60s. The entire area is just gone and replaced by concrete towers that everyone loathes now. We lost a quaint old neighborhood.
