curious how that compares to other countries? lot of problems in this one..

he misses the point that most water usage in Cali is due to alfalfa farmers who export.
he also doesn't really discuss a lot of grown food doesn't just go to the produce section, it's sent to be processed and they're much less picky about aesthetics. produce sections are a pretty small percentage of food purchased.
he shouldn't care if food is left in the field or under a tree - it's going to decompose properly, something he had an issue with.
i like John Oliver, but this one seemed pretty poorly researched. he's mostly just showing clips from a single documentary.
