yeah, they give you everything on C: because it's generally a PITA to manage partitions. Folders do that job w/o limiting your space -- nm

I had my old computer for 10 years or so. I had my drive partitioned and had maybe 100 GB for my C:. Never needed more space than that.

I guess. I used to be that way but then it came down to why. There really isn't anything gained by having D: when it's all the same physical drive

exactly and unless you plan to upgrade/replace the OS regularly it really doesn't make any sense to partition -- nm
