I have it set to damage to surrounding enemy players. With it's damn near Sniper Level range it has I can sit back and damage people as my team advances forward, I weaken them so they get dropped quicker. I also pick up all kinds of kills...granted I'm not getting 40 kills per game, but I'm hitting in the 20's quite a bit in Crucible. And my assists are double digits as well
