At least at some point he chose to take down the photo he had of the burning towers! :-( Which was up at the time that I started working here in 2005. Really? Hanging a photo of the burning towers for four years? At first I gave them (I had two bosses before, not I have the one) the benefit of the doubt, that maybe they lost somebody they know. But after a while, today, I just don't get it any more. I can't walk a mile in your shoes, but I think it is time to move on.
