I remember saying a few years ago when they were messing with Gibb's morality, making it ambiguous, that they needed to get back to what made the show successful. That Gibbs needed to a White Hat. That they needed to stick with the characters as absolutes as to what they were. But...wow, I didn't expect them to so completely and rigidly do that. It's hilarious how grumpy Gibbs is now, unless he's dealing with Abby. Gibbs is so the older white guy demo representative.
The stories are incredibly derivative at this point. We've seen each episode's plot a bunch of times now. Although, having Gibb's get shot by a kid in Iraq was pretty new and Shark Jumpy.
Also, it's getting pretty racists, lots of stereotypes at this point.
