this reminds me - twitter's changing it so non-mobile users join mobile ones in not being able to customize background made national radio news

the other morning. I don't think I saw it discussed on st?
I'll miss mine, and I think it's an odd move - taking away something that added personality; but I'm already used to no backgrounds and all.the.white on so many other sites now, it should be an easy transition, at least.
