Boycott may be the wrong word too. Boycotting something, to me, means that you're not viewing/purchasing so that the creators/sellers can gain

financially from you because of some perceived wrong they have carried out. Therefore, a call by the Vatican to "boycott" this film means watching a pirated version may be more morally acceptable than by paying to see it! The Pope uses Pirate Bay obvie.
