I was just watching Feig's commentary track on The Heat. He talked at length about locating in NYC (Bichir scenes) but shooting in Boston

I think ST would be startled at how flippant he was about it. Or maybe just Krusty (Hi Krusty!). For example, he pointed out Boston Harbor which can be seen briefly over Demian Bichir's shoulder in one shot, even though he's supposed to be in NYC. Feig talked at length about how talented Boston crew are and how willing NYC crew are to relocate there for a shoot.
(Of course, most of the film actually takes place in Boston).
