They needed to seriously cut out some of that plot underbrush and then focus on getting to the fireworks factory sooner (spoiler)

There are too many tangential characters to keep track of. I literally thought that all the recent references to Holloway were talking about the James Frain character. When the real Holloway showed up last episode in the tunnels, I didn't know who the hell he was.
