Krusty, the value of Bernie's campaign is going to be forcing the party to recognize and incorporate a lot of the issues he's talking about.

When Hillary/Biden/whomever gets the nomination, that person is going to have to speak to some of Bernie's issues to bring those voters into the fold for the general. He'll get a prime-time spot at the convention, some of the less controversial aspects of his platform will end up being part of the nominee's platform when otherwise they would have been ignored.
That's where you'll be happiest with Bernie in the end. That's what his campaign will do, and from your perspective you can be grateful to him for that.
