so basically this google re-org sounds more and more like page et al don't really like having to explain the losses from their speculative projects, so they want to keep google as the money producing advertising cash cow that it is, and then they can keep blowing through money on whatever megalomaniac pie in the sky research jams they want without having to explain it to the cfo.
