Within the last year or so...
1) No more airport pickups at popular airports. Their service was operating in a manner where the airport wasn't getting their cut of the fare (ala taxis, every pickup the airport gets a cut of). So many airports cut Uber off.
2) Keeping bigger cut of Uber fares. They keep more of the overall fare, thus leaving drivers with less. Their cut has jumped 30-40%.
3) Charging Drivers data rates $10 a week, equals $40 a month.
Except for major metro areas and one-off events like conferences, it is difficult for someone to make any money driving for them on a full-time basis.
