this discussion multiple times with my in-laws who were focused entirely on whether the Brown shooting was justified or not. They were missing the real story either way. The reality is only that he was a catalyst, justified or not, for bringing light to systematic abuses. The fact that the circumstances around his death are not cut and dried can be a distraction from the real message, but it shouldn't be.
