i was waiting on my primary doc to get a referral to someone. the office "where i am to be tested" called me a little while ago. i'm a bit pissed right now for a couple of reasons.

first of all, the best that they can do is 2 months from now. i may or may not have 2 months right now to just hang out while my academic situation waits by the wayside.

secondly, i don't have any insurance right now. perhaps that could stand on it's own as a reason for being miffed right now, but I'll go on . . . . the office told me that, for people without insurance, the cost for this testing is a shade north of 2,000 dollars.

yup. two thousand American dollars.

two thousand American dollars, that I don't have.

so, i'm short on time, low on money, and about out of patience. i don't mind telling you all that i'm pretty disgusted with life right now.
