I was going to point out the same. That if you're doing the given exercise correctly the benefits will taper off as the body becomes more efficient

I'm interested to see where this 'longer' version of training will take me. Currently racking up more miles and eventually will go on distances that I've only run a few times in my life.

But there was a point was running only a couple times of a week but was able to run distances without thinking too much of it that were once considered 'long' runs that had to be specially prepared for.

I think that after this program, I'm going to try faster. Cut down the number of overall miles run per week but use a program that will have me running faster with the goal being to cut half marathon time.
