You purchased new (through Amazon).
6 weeks later it began having power issues. You've now gone through 3 motherboards and 3 attempts by the manufacturer to fix it. It still doesn't work.
Subsequently, internet research has led you to some forum posts on the manufacturer's website where people who bought the same model as you are having the same exact problems.
Do you:
A) Accept their offer of a refurbished laptop, same model as yours
B) Demand a brand new laptop, same model as yours
C) Demand a brand new laptop, different model, equal or better specs

Thanks everyone. Wanted to make sure I wasn't being ridiculous by expecting C. -- nm

I'd want a full refund and start over with a new manufacturer. I no longer trust this one. -- nm
