I could walk down the street with the hottest band/singer/act of the last year and I wouldn't have a clue.
While we wait - I'm going through some...err...tracks? I know Uptown Funk. It takes that level of popularity to pierce my world now. I dig Mars, he knows how to take an influence and make a current pop song from it. But if you're going to channel James Brown you better have a better dance. If that's the official dance of the song Zombie James Brown is going to eat his face off. That song requires a lot more energetic dancing. I suspect the choreographer is a stoner.
