Not even close. My vape smells like candy, you'd think you walked into a cloud of cotton candy. Cigarettes smell awful and burn the nostrils. I get

having vapor blown in your face is annoying. No doubt about it but it's not on the level of a cigarette or cigar. That's just terrible.
