It would be pretty jarring to see Wayne, a Colts lifer, defect to the hated Patriots, but now it seems like a real possibility. The Patriots don't have a ton of depth at wide receiver behind Julian Edelman and Brandon LaFell and both of those players have been out with injuries. Wayne logged a respectable 779 yards last season but didn't show the same burst he had early in his career. Young receivers like Aaron Dobson and Josh Boyce could certainly learn a thing or two from the veteran. Given Wayne's health issues over the last few years, it's not a guarantee that he'll pass his physical.
