My opposition to the death penalty has never been about the value of the condemned to society, but about my unwillingness

to be a party to the process.

I have serious, serious reservations in killing someone who has already been rendered essentially harmless through imprisonment.

That we are seeing more and more evidence that actual innocent people have been executed reinforces my belief that the death penalty is not worth implementing.
