just anecdotal - one guy was supposed to start college, today. he is still in croatia where he went for a wedding.

someone else's quite elderly father is there - he went to visit his family after his wife died. He has no money for a secondary ticket, and is just exhausted (the family doesn't live in Athens - it's just the closest airport, so he's in Athens on his own trying to figure this all out - his daughter is working on it from here.
it's pretty sad all around.
