Does this make any sense?

My insurance company, which just raised my copay for blood strips to $25/mo, will cover the strips 100% if I order a 3-month supply from the same company that ships my pump supplies. Turns out they are covered under the 'durable medical equipment' part of my insurance plan.
Still $25/mo if I pick them up at the pharmacy, though...

Mine always has given a huge discount if you buy stuff direct in bulk. Like if you have a regular medication. -- nm

so, you get them for free if you order 3 months at a time, from the company that does pump supplies?

Yep, that makes sense. I mean, not like in actual sense, but in health insurance benefit terms, absolutely,. -- nm
