so honestly I would give ours about a 4. here are my problems:

1) "we don't automatically install the 64 bit onto 64 bit machines. you have to request it." I don't work in IT. how am I supposed to know what I want or need? IT should be invisible to me.
2) conference rooms NEVER work. ever. and none have manuals (besides 214, which, now that I think of it, I have never even used).
3) wireless takes three minutes to connect. this is not okay.
4) users' preferences and special programs are not saved somewhere, so every time I get my machine reimaged, it takes a month to get it back to normal. "I didn't know you needed data warehouse access!" I work in fucking finance! do you think I use online banking or something?
5) they force us to bulk buy computers that are not to spec we can use (like, what the hell am I going to do with 8 GB of RAM) and that are not upgradeable, which means that we are now on a 1.5 year replacement schedule, which means that my unit's IT costs are twice everyone else's per person. let me configure my own machine.
