I liked that he was never in any peril. I liked that he was vengeance without redemption. Just kill kill kill. But...
The Russians should have killed some of the coworkers just for kicks. Heck, no reason to kidnap McCall's coworkers. He'd already proven himself a softie. Any hostages would have sufficed. But the Russians were dumb. They walked willingly into his trap. They should have run when the lights went out. He was waiting for them! I didn't like McCall using the tools. Was he just testing himself or something? Guns and knifes wouldn't do. He needed a challenge?
