Box, a hand made wooden case, like a nice jewelry case, only 5 foot tsll, a foot wide, 3 inch deep, the kind of exquisite craftsmanship of the old school joints with out nails kind....we had no idea what could possibly be insude. Afraid to open and ruin the case
