This is a bit of a ramble, but any thoughts/vibes appreciated. Sadly, this is another cancer sucks story re: my younger cousin.

So I haven't really mentioned this on the board, except for the Make-A-Wish comment, so here we go. I'm one of 6 grandkids on one side of the family. I'm the oldest, then my brother, then we have more than 10 years on everyone else. I have a cousin who is 16 (he's a twin) who had been having seizures off and on for a few months. Testing was done, nothing found. While visiting family friends last year had a seizure. Doctor in California identified a brain tumor/cancer the size of a grapefruit. Over the past year it's been surgery, chemo, etc. Doctors a few months ago mentioned it wouldn't be long and nothing else could be done. New Doctor at Hopkins then took a look - they did surgery and chemo with some hope. Well, he had a seizure this weekend. Doctor told him/parents this morning that he believes it's spread and that there is nothing else they can do. They are looking into going to another doctor and potentially to Duke U this weekend for any last ditch effort. While no parent should have to go through this, no 16 year old should. I feel awful for him, and his brother.
