I managed to get on one of the Sox podcasts this weekend with a sarcastic question about the Royals sweep meaning he can keep his job.

I really, really hope not. I've never been a fan of his hiring, I'll admit, but he makes some boneheaded in game decisions and doesn't learn from them.
I liked him as a player and he doesn't seem to kick babies or anything but if we're going to contend we need a new manager.
