"Re-Tweets
Some on the religious right have attempted to elevate Rowan County, Ky., Clerk Kim Davis to the status of a civil rights martyr for her willingness to go to jail rather than sign off on marriage licenses to same-sex couples. About that, online voters chose this observation from @WritePlay as the tweet of the week: "Kim Davis is not Rosa Parks. Kim Davis is the bus driver if he refused to drive African-Americans after the law was changed."
In second place was one my favorite tweets of the year so far: "Maybe the baby wasn't on board. Maybe the baby was against the whole thing," by @wickedsuga.
