I had a curious exchange with an officer just now.

Three uniforms were posted at the front of my apartment complex.

When I stopped, I looked at the three of them and asked if they were okay. They said, why? I said, well, I haven't ever seen cops staked out at the front of the apartment complex before. They asked for ID, if I lived there, how long. Then she said, you're going to be seeing a lot more of us. I said good. And she rubbed my shoulder. It was...weird.
