I've been thinking for weeks about reactivating my dating profile and changing my location to somewhere like Vancouver or Victoria.

I finally I gave it a try tonight. I had forgotten how depressing this is. It's like shopping for people on eBay. There's a million different options with only the smallest little variations, and invariably the one you like is out of stock or turns out to be a scam.

More to the point, I don't like this. I don't like this at all. I don't like browsing. I don't like seeking out people I might like who aren't going to give me the time of day. I don't like seeing people I'm not interested in who I might have to disappoint.

I'd rather be lonely and alone than deal with this. Deactivating my dating profile again.
