I'm rarely on the side of cops in these videos, but this time I don't see much of a problem. I don't see any beating and the take down to the ground

happened fairly smoothly. No knee on the neck or anything like that.
Then again, the kid seems to be more freaked out in the video than resisting arrest to be a dick. In these case I wish cops would try to diffuse the situation and talk calmly rather than be like "OBEY MY ORDERS!!!" and escalate the situation
