ice cream frozen by LN2 is a different story and perfectly safe because the N2 all boils off as it's being made.

It's a common HS science experiment. Under no circumstances would I drink anything with LN2 in it though.

The thing with LN2 is that you want to limit your exposure, but it's safe unless you're stupid about it. You can pour it on your hands as long as it runs right off. Cup your hands and let it sit and you're headed for trouble. And don't contain it in something where it's going to warm up - like your stomach.
