ebay seller sent me the wrong item (inexpensive blush) - for days, he's been trying to make me a deal to keep the not-for-me color and pay something

for it.
at first, he didn't believe he sent me the wrong one and made me take photos for proof.
next, he wanted to reimburse me a couple of dollars to keep it.
after that, he said I should send it back; but he didn't want to pay postage.
now, he offered to send me just the item cost, no shipping cost; and I'll keep the item I can't use.
total was a little under $5, but it's so dumb to think I should have any outlay for his mistake. (and he doesn't respond to my queries if he has the correct shade, but he still has it listed for sale.)
one more try, and I escalate.
it's only $5, but it's my $5. ;p
(it's a pale yellow-based coral shade - I am pale and cool-pink based, it would look awful on me and pretty much anyone I'd give it to who uses blush; but I could donate it.)
