They do rush in batches. There is sometimes more than one batch.

When they came out for the first batch, there was only one ticket in that batch when they reached us. I told him to take it (he was very interested in the movie) and that I would take my chances. A fewer minutes later they said it was full.
That's the art of the rush, you win some, you lose some. I would rather at least one of us get to see it.
