I expect whatever I paid for and whatever the hall has promised. For instance...

if the hall is also a caterer and I've purchased food from them...I find out ahead of time - do servers come in the price? What about utensils? Plates? Napkins?
If yes to all of that...then that's what I expect. I expect to not have to bring anything for the food - and I expect professional servers to serve the food to guests.
But it's all about what was agreed upon when a contract was made.
