they had no business being even remotely in the conversation, based on just about everyone on the team having down years.

The fact that the managed to hand around with Zimmerman being a full run per game worse than last season, and Gio putting up a 1.45 WHIP, and while Szherzer has been good, he still is just a tick above .500. The offense has been bad, except for that one guy who has managed to score 100, knock in 98 and hit 41 homers, while geting on base 45% of the time.
