The people buying actual Tesla cars aren't sweating these things. It *will* be an issue if the Model 3 has the same issues.

But the S and X are still basically Beta products being used to prove the concept and fine-tune the manufacturing process.
In fact, if the X lacks these "reliability" issues, then I'd consider it a mostly non-issue for the upcoming 3.
The CR also notes that the majority of issues are cropping up in 2013 Model s cars. The fist few hundred cars were released in 2012.
And that was all after the Roadster which was a mess of poor fit and unreliability.
