If possible, I recommend two garages. I would *love*a second (one car) garage used entirely for storage.

As for that house my dad built, it had a long up hill drive way through woods that when you got to the top opened up to acreage with a farm. So zero neighbors and an amazing view. It really was something. Damn him for selling it!
