I know, for a fact, that I spent several nights running Crota raids, when there was zero in it for me, other than collecting shards. I had every piece of armor, weapons, in duplicate, shaders, etc.... I was running it so you could get your Crux, Jax and J and Remlik could get their drops or maybe Gjallarhorn.
I am sure you are a little bitter that you did not get your gun, as I am that I, for months, would ask that we run Vault of Glass, and for months, we did not. I went along with the group. So, no offense, but I don't want to hear about me being selfish. I openly would tell everyone when Iron Banner was happening, that I was 100% committed to playing for the armor and guns available only during Iron Banner and that I would not be raiding during that time. Anyone was welcome to join me for that.
