like, the provincial NDP (nominally socialist) government here is pro-pipeline but wants it to be within Canada. The BC Liberal premier (which is actually closer to the Conservative Party) is anti-pipeline. The Federal NDP is against all of them. The Conservatives are for all of them. The federal Liberals are for some, not others.
It's like, half local interests, half partisanship.
