twice upon a time, a really offbeat 1983 cutout animation thing that i guess was done in the early 80's for hbo. pretty trippy. directed by john korty (who also made that awesome william shatner starring 70's anti drug tv movie go ask alice!) with some hilariously bad 80's music (with that sax, you know the one) by bruce hornsby and maureen mcdonald.

also of note: henry selick directed some segments and what must have been an insanely young david fincher did "special photographic effects".
