I think he's the real deal. He's the first guy I've seen who reminds me of Pacquioa circa 2001-03. I know it's unfair but I judge and am looking for the next Pacqiuao Prime.
Dawson has a lot of similar talents. He's very very mobile. He punches hard but from all over. I noticed that he was stalking Jean...he stayed at a distance, waited for the right angle and then was immediately on him and then hit him with multiple shots.
I like that he's mean too. He does a Pacquiao thing where when you hit him he almost immediately hits you back. He's got the chin to do that, the temperament to do it naturally and the ability to stun a guy.
There's talk of him being being the P4P Guy. He and Lomenchanko are my pick but I need to see more. I think Dawson has the best shot at becoming a superstar but needs to be tested. That's the problem with all the P4P guys...they haven't been tested. They're all a class above everyone else.
