I really enjoyed Peanuts. Particularly the Charlie Brown/Snoopy dynamic.

The animation was a clever mix of modern and classic. Plenty of callbacks to old Peanuts cartoons.

In the strips and the old cartoons, Snoopy always seemed to exist independently of the kids. But here, Snoopy is Charlie Brown's loyal pet and assistant/enabler. Snoopy's story writing, his Red Baron narrative is an extension of what's happening in the main story.

I also loved that they used Bill Melendez's original vocals for Snoopy and Woodstock.
