If I was going to bet on the Republican Presidential nomination today, I'd probably bet on Sen. Ted Cruz.

I think Donald Trump will eventually falter. Sen. Marco Rubio will likely emerge as the establishment candidate (since Gov. Jeb Bush can't help but trip over his own feet these days), leaving Sen. Ted Cruz as the rabble-rousing, "outsider" candidate.

I give Sen. Cruz a slight edge because I think he has more grassroots appeal than Sen. Rubio.

But, considering that we're nearly four months away from the big block of Super Tuesday primaries.
